The works, from the beginning of the activity of the Unit, last October 10, 2014 have been focused so far on the correct mathematical definition of each of the target problems and in the approach of prototypes to test the most promising methods. The problems will be “attacked” as both computational and mathematical techniques, and it is very important in this early stage, to define the problem from the mathematical point of view in a way that is advantageous for resolution, to then design the most suitable methods to their implementation in computational resources, existed or ad-hoc configured for this problem.  This method evaluations work is being done with prototypes of the problems of small size, that retains much of the complexity of the real problems and it is expected some first results on real problems later this year 2015.
