On 22 March 2022, the company CEDIE received the SIMPSEG project partners at its factory in O Barco de Valdeorras (Galicia). The visit was held by Víctor Menéndez, Francisco Sueiro and Eloy Crespo (CEDIE) who recived to Prof. Elena Martín Ortega (CITMAga) and Nicolás Rico Quiroga (GOMPUTE).
The visit to the manufacturing process is essential to understand how the numerical simulations address the problems of the SIMPSEG experiment. During that day, the SIMPSEG team evaluated previous experiences of simulations in similar production processes, the main variables that influence the model and their influence on the numerical results.
