The University of Vigo ranks as the second Spanish University transfering mathematics to industry, thanks to the work of groups that are part of ITMATI. The research group of the UVigo, MAI, belonging to ITMATI, is lead by José Durany, Full Professor of Applied Mathematics at UVigo and affiliated reserarcher of ITMATI, and has two decades of experience in contracts with companies of all sectors: naval, technological design engineering, etc…

Galician groups that consolidate their work at ITMATI, are dedicated to the transfer of mathematical technology to the industry and they have signed more than 50% of all contracts signed with companies in the country.
