The creation and implementation of ITMATI is a step to consolidate the Galicia leadership position in Industrial Mathematics. This position is recognized both nationally and internationally, thanks to the hard work in technology transfer to companies conducted over the last 20 years by the Galician research groups. With ITMATI we aim to consolidate Industrial Mathematics in Galicia as a reference of national and international level, exponentially increasing the business impact, which allows for a measurable qualitative and quantitative leap in terms of business investment in R&D.

To achieve itd goals, ITMATI will bet on human capital and will base its organisation in providing solutions for businesses and industry sectors. ITMATI will be formed by scientists and specialists in project management and technology transfer and innovation. Thus, the transmission of knowledge generated in universities will be optimized in the field of industrial mathematics and applied to the productive sectors.
