On 31 May 2023, the 2nd SisAl Pilot review meeting took place in Trondheim (Norway). The consortium presented the results obtained before facing the last quarter of the project, with the evaluation of external European experts. The Project Officer, Susana Xara, and the project evaluator, Fernando António Portela de Sousa Castro, were the main representatives of the European Commission during the event. The CITMAga team, with the participation in person of the affiliated researcher Dolores Gómez and online of the team.
The visit in Norway lasts two days, until 2 June 2023, to follow the pilot tests of the novel patented industrial process to produce silicon in the plants of Hydro (Sunndalsøra) and Wacker (Kyrksæterøra).
