The purpose of the call "Retos-Colaboración" (Collaboration-Challenges) is to develop cooperation projects between enterprises and research organizations as ITMATI, in order to promote the development of new technologies, the business application of new ideas and techniques, and contribute to the creation of new products and services.

The call "Retos-Colaboración" (Collaboration-Challenges) aims to generate a critical mass in R & D in order to search for solutions, promote the creation of innovative companies, guide the activity of existing companies to innovative activity, mobilize private investment, create jobs and improve the technological balance of the country. Also to strengthen the capacity of international leadership of the Spanish Science and Technology and Innovation, as well as its agents, in order to improve the competitiveness of businesses.
