Numerical Simulation Workshop, June 29th, 2021 – Online.
On 29 June 2021, the Numerical Simulation Workshop was held in online mode where the SisAl Pilot project partners in charge of the modelling of the furnaces explained their progress in the research.
The SIMTEC partner started the presentations with a focus on the slag property models, and then focused on the validation of the model parameters and future work within the SisAl Pilot project. Also, ITMATI gave two presentations by Dr. José Luis Ferrín, Afiliated Researcher to ITMATI and Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Mathematics of the USC, and the researchers Branca García Correa and Dr. Jorge Albella.
