On Friday June 14 Svenn Anton Halvorsen, Senior Researcher in Applied Mathematics at the Norwegian Institute of Industrial Research Teknova AS visits ITMATI, in order to develop activities in the framework of a collaborative project between the two institutions in the metallurgical area.

There will be a session in which Svenn Anton Halvorsen introduces the project and collaboration with ITMATI. Besides, ITMATI show mathematical success stories in the metallurgical sector and applications made ​​in this area by Galician research groups of  Applied Mathematics, Statistics and Operations Research promoters of ITMATI.

This activity is funded by the " Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la Tecnología – Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad (FECYT)-" in the framework of the project " The mathematics as innovative element of the innovation in the industry".
