Ms. Dolores Gómez Pedreira and José Luis González Ferrin, professors of Applied Mathematics at the University of Santiago de Compostela and affiliated researchers of ITMATI researchers, will attend as speakers at the conference "Mathematical Modelling in Metallurgical Industry”. The conference will be held on 19 and 20, May, in Kristiansand, Norway.
 
The conference is partly a spin-off from “Metallurgical Scale-up”, a project with support from the Regional Research Fund Agder and four major Norwegian companies. The conference is arranged by Teknova in cooperation with SFI Metal Production. This centre for research based innovation is supported by the Research Council of Norway and most of the Norwegian metallurgical industry.
