“BASH Scripting in queue systems” will take place on the Aula Magna of the
Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Santiago de Compostela. Diego Rodríguez Martínez, Hired researcher of ITMATI will give the talk.
Summary:
BASH is an UNIX shell widely uses in most GNU /Linux systems today. In addition to the interactive mode, BASH can be used as an interpreted programming language by using scripts. In this talk, mainly aimed at unfamiliar users with this language, it is to show some of the main features of BASH scripting, in particular, how to apply these techniques to manage executions of scientific programs in the queue system in a cluster computer.
