Alfredo Bermúdez de Castro, Professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics at the USC and promoter of ITMATI, has been appointed as member of the 8-people Advisory Committee on Science Policy for the Secretary of State on Research, Development and Innovation of the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. The Advisory Committe, appointed for a four years term,  is formed by renowned researchers covering a wide range of research fields.
