19th European Conference on Mathematics for Industry (ECMI 2016) will take place in Santiago de Compostela from 13 th to 17th June, and will involve the participation of ITMATI.
ECMI conferences are promoted by the European Consortium for Mathematics in Industry with the aim to enforce the interaction between academy and industry, leading to innovation in both fields. This 19th edition will be held in Santiago de Compostela on 13-17th June 2016.
ECMI2016 is jointly organized by the Department of Applied Mathematics at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (USC) and the Spanish Network for Mathematics & Industry (math-in). The last four ECMI conferences have been held in Taormina (2014), Lund (2012), Wuppertal (2010) and London (2008).
Within the ECMI, ITMATI organizes the the Minisymposium MS35: Effective solutions for industry using mathematical technology. These conferences proposed in the MS35, ITMATI has proposed companies that have worked with the center. These conferences are the framework for industrial mathematical projects that ITMATI has done with these companies.
